HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you for all of your many hours of volunteering in 2016 to help keep the fountain and the surrounding area looking great! I appreciate it, and I know that the community thanks us!

This Saturday 7 January is the first Saturday of the month. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for both Saturday and Sunday is RAIN! THIS SATURDAY IS CANCELLED!!! Join us Friday at 10am instead.

We had planned to take down the holiday decorations, but we will leave the garland and lights up until the rain stops and they have a chance to dry out before we store them. We will plan to remove the wreaths from the bears, as they are looking rather tired.

We also had planned a planting project. I do plan to go ahead with this on Friday, a predicted dry day. I sent out an email to a few volunteers to see if they would be able to join me on Friday 6 January at 10am to start on this project. Several volunteers said that they are available. If you have already responded to my previous email, you do not need to let me know that you plan to join us.

Please join us Friday at 10am, instead of Saturday, if you are available, as we can use as many helping hands as possible!

Volunteers will be meeting at 1992 Los Angeles at 10am. If you come later, the actual project is located on the Arlington in the parking strip, just behind the house at 965 Mendocino.
